Opera is all around our community, schools, and neighborhoods. Here are some local opera resources in the Philadelphia area:

Penn State Abington presents informative opera programs mirroring the Opera Company of Philadelphia season. Moderated by Penn State Professor Emeritus of Integrative Arts Dr. Moylan Mills, the talks will be held on the following dates:

Hansel and Gretel -- Sunday, November 4, 2007, at 2:30 p.m.

Darlington Arts Center offers private instruction and group classes for opera lovers, including Intro to Opera Scenes and Ensembles for teens and adults.  Students perform short opera excerpts appropriate to their level of singing.  Learn about operatic repertoire, musical styles, and more.  Darlington also offers private lessons.
